Ladyhawke and Fight Like Apes to play Trinity BallPosted: 19.02.2009
The first three acts to play at this year’s Trinity Ball were announced yesterday, in the University Record.
This year the Ball will take place on Friday 8 May and the event has regularly attracted some of the biggest names around, with even Kate Moss putting in an appearance when Babyshambles were headlining back in 2005.
This year is the fiftieth Trinity Ball and Ents Officer Nick Longworth has promised that Calvin Harris, Ladyhawke and Fight Like Apes are “only the first acts to be announced in what will be the biggest lineup ever.”
Groove Armada were supposed to be headlining, but pulled out before
they were officially announced. R.S.A.G. will also be joining their fellow Choice Music Prize nominees Fight Like Apes to play at the ball.
More acts are set to be announced over the coming weeks.
