Shakespeare Festival

It’s the Trinity College Dublin Shakespeare Festival this week, and there’s a whole range of exciting Shakespearean entertainment to be had. The headlining event is the GB Theatre Company’s production of As You Like It in the Front Square of Trinity College every night this week, but we’re also pretty impressed by the huge array of one-off performances being enacted at strategic locations around the city. Different student and professional theatre companies will be performing selected scenes from Shakespeare in nine different spots across the city centre, giving unsuspecting passers-by a little more than they bargained for.
