Winter Illness

We are both ill. Every autumn, it’s the same. It gets to the end of September and within SECONDS some type of killer flu strikes and proceeds to stay with us in some sort of form until the following June. I don’t think we’re alone. Everyone seems to be sick at the moment. Even as I type, I can hear my flatmates coughing horribly on either side of the walls, giving the whole floor the atmosphere of a hospital ward, whilst the kitchen has become overrun with industrial quantities of honey and lemon. It’s horrible. All I want to do is live somewhere tropical and warm, where (malaria and dengue fever aside) nothing bad ever happens.
