Poetry Workshop

Last night saw a plethora of unwanted books and rather attractive looking magazines being cut up and remoulded into some beautiful poetry (although my own “Ode to Will Self” proved to be an epic fail). Held in the Old Kitchens at Queens College, Cambridge, it was the first of a series of events run to promote this year’s May Anthologies, which I happen to be co-editing. Taking a leaf out of Jonathan Safran Foer’s latest book, the idea of recycled words definitely proved popular, with some very visually arresting poems being created during the course of the evening!
